Water System Management. Testing and Monitoring

This course is aimed at staff who are responsible for the general operation of hot and cold water systems in buildings.  The course will provide delegates with an understanding of how water systems operate, potential routes of bacterial infection and the testing and monitoring that should be carried out to ensure the cleanliness of the systems.

Course Content.

On completion of the course delegates will understand:

• the general operation of hot and cold water systems.
• the legal requirements and industry best practice including testing and monitoring.
• the main areas of risk where bacteria can thrive.
• types and transmission of the water borne bacteria.
• their responsibilities when dealing with the risks of bacterial contamination.
