Fire Risk Assessment

As an employer or a person in control of a workplace you must arrange for a fire risk assessment to be carried out by a ‘competent person’ which must focus on the safety in case of fire of all employees and authorised visitors to your premises. It should pay particular attention to those at special risk, such as disabled people, those who you know have special needs and young persons and must include consideration of any dangerous substance liable to be on the premises.

Carrying out a fire risk assessment can be a daunting task if you aren’t trained to do it. ACE consultants will carry out a detailed inspection of your premises which will identify all the fire risks and hazards and any existing fire precautions and prevention systems that you already have in place. The inspection will generate a detailed report which will include recommendations for improvement and possible solutions to any problems that were identified.
